Our Story

Ilkley Traditional Thai Massage was founded in 2015 by Nuanchan "Jay" Anderson, a passionate and experienced massage therapist from Roi Et, a beautiful province in Northeastern Thailand. With a deep appreciation for the healing powers of traditional Thai massage, Jay has made it her mission to share this ancient art with the people of Ilkley and the surrounding Yorkshire Dales.

Jay's journey into the world of massage therapy began after she experienced a personal injury earlier in life. Through receiving massage treatments, she witnessed firsthand the incredible success and transformative effects that this holistic approach could provide. Inspired by her own healing experience, Jay became dedicated to helping others find relief, relaxation, and improved well-being through the power of touch.

In 2005, Jay made the life-changing decision to move to the United Kingdom, falling in love with the breathtaking landscapes and warm-hearted communities of the Yorkshire Dales. Over the next decade, she honed her skills and deepened her knowledge of traditional Thai massage techniques. In 2015, with a deep commitment to her craft and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives, Jay established Ilkley Traditional Thai Massage.
